HOST TEAM MEETING

There will be a 15 minute Host Team meeting following the service on Sunday, January 29th at the Coffee Corner. All members of the Host Team (Hospitality, Usher, and Welcome Center ) and anyone who is interested in joining one of this team should make plans to attend. See Dana Green if you have any questions.

ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING & POTLUCK

We will be having a potluck in the CE Building, Sunday, February 5th following the service. Everyone is invited to come; we ask that each family please bring a casserole or meat dish and side dish ready to share for the meal. After lunch will be the Annual Business Meeting; we ask that all members please plan to attend in the meeting in the Sanctuary.

UPSTREAM MEN'S MINISTRY

All men are invited to the next Upstream Men's Ministry meeting on Thursday, February 9th at 6:30 pm. We'll be meeting at Forrest Peterson's house, 901 Market. Bring $5 for food and prepare to be blessed with this time of fellowship.

UNLIMITED WOMEN'S MINISTY

Unlimited will be meeting at Sherry Stewart's house (612 State) on Thursday, February 9th at 6:30 pm. All women are invited to come together for a night of fellowship; dinner will be provided. Childcare will be provided at the church.

JBQ MEET

Emporia will be hosting the JBQ meet on Saturday, February 11th. If anyone is interested in helping out that day, please contact Harold and Tracey Small.

COURAGEOUS MOVIE

We will be watching the movie Courageous during the service on Sunday, February 12th. This is a wonderful opportunity to invite friends and family to enjoy this great movie. Parents: the movie is rated PG-13 for some violence and drug content; LC Kids Church will be available.

MISSION TRIP TO BELIZE - APPLICATION DEADLINE COMING UP

Life Church is teaming up with Partnership International and heading to Belize July 17th - 24th. The application is due by February 15th. There is an information sheet at the Welcome Center . If you are at least 16 years old and are interested in going, please call the church office 342-8620 or contact Tom Stewart.

ADULT BUS RIDERS NEEDED

Our Wednesday Night Bus Ministry has grown and we are in need of additional volunteers! We are looking for riders to assist the bus drivers on their routes. Riders help to watch, direct, and correct children (if needed). The bus schedule: two buses leave LC to pick up kids at 6 pm, the van leaves at 8 pm to take Mega Kids home, and the people mover bus leaves at 8:30 pm to take Reality Youth students home. Any time slot that you can help fill would be great. If you are interested, but can only ride one way (picking up kids but not taking home or vice versa) we would still like to have you on the team!
